Thomas Abidoye is a Nigerian journalist and communications professional originally from Ejigbo in Osun State. He earned a National Diploma at Kwara State Polytechnic and an HND (in Mass Communication or a related field) at Osun State Polytechnic; he is currently completing a B.Sc. at Kwara State University, Malete. According to his public profile, he has over seven years of experience covering politics, economy, entertainment, crime and general news.

Journalism and Media Career

Abidoye began his professional journey in journalism around 2017, working initially as part of his National Diploma training. He has written extensively for AmiLoaded Media Hub (a news website based in Osogbo, Osun), serving as Digital Publisher and Editor-in-Chief from mid-2021 onward. AmiLoaded’s website lists hundreds of news articles under his byline. For example, in 2025 he authored a community-news report (“Police Seek Help To Locate Family Of Dumb Man Found In Osun”) focusing on a local human-interest case. Beyond AmiLoaded, Abidoye has also held communications roles in non-profit media and foundations – for instance, he has been a Content Writer for the Oladapo Opasina Foundation and Communications Officer for the Favour Itunu Gift Oladosu Foundation.

Through his journalism, Abidoye has highlighted social issues and community stories in Nigeria. I Wept After Reading This Judge's Sentence On A 15 Year Old Boy

Which Way Forward, Ospoly?

  In 2019, as I stepped foot on the soil of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, for my Higher National Diploma, I felt like the happiest guy on earth. It was a homecoming for me to experience education in my state.
